Our Experience
At the Sports ClinicWestern Avenue Our Team of Physiotherapists:Sally Done![]() Sally graduated from The University of Sydney in 2002. Since then she has worked in both Sydney and London. She has extensive experience in the treatment of sports injuries, with a particular interest in treating dance and gymnastic related injuries. Sally has worked with various rugby and AFL teams and is currently the home physiotherapist for the Sydney University ‘Flames' Basketball team. Sally is also our resident clinical pilates instructor, teaching small classes at the clinic. Sally is also experienced in the more common aches and pains, and workplace injuries. Suzie Hartley![]() Suzie is a passionate and experienced physiotherapist, who has a keen interest in sport. She has worked as apart of a team of physio's for the St Kilda AFL team, at the 2009 World Masters Games, with School-boy Rugby Union and at the national Baseball Championships. She is the physiotherapist for the Sydney University Mens Soccer Football Club. Suzie also excels in rehabilitation, work related injuries, postural injuries and common aches and pains. She has experience in both hospital and private practice settings, and adopts a holistic approach to her treatment. She has also undertaken further study to complete her qualifications as a registered Dry Needling practitioner. Chris Spring![]() As well as treating private clients in the clinic, Chris also looks after the Sydney University Colts Rugby teams and the Sydney University Cricket Club. In addition to his physiotherapy degree, Chris also completed his Masters in Exercise and Sports Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), and uses these skills to get players back on the field and into the gym in a timely matter. Chris has a special interest in low back/pelvic/knee issues, and previous to working at Peak Physique, worked 2 years in a low back/pelvic specialty clinic at which in addition to treating these problem cases, he taught core stability classes which ranged from basic muscle activation and motor learning to advanced sport specific analysis and training. Craig Gregory![]() After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1999, Craig completed a few years in the public hospital system before spending two years working and travelling in the UK and Europe. On his return, Craig has been working in private practice, focussing on the management of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He is completing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University. Craig has an interest in all sports especially rugby and cricket and has a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of lower limb injuries, especially knees and ankles. He is the current physiotherapist for the Rugby Union Grand Final Winners for 2009, the Sydney University Rugby Club. Naomi BoydNaomi runs her treatment session every Saturday morning, taking care of the simplest pre-game strapping needs to post-op knee surgery recovery plans. Naomi's easy going manner makes it easy for our patients, whether they are the general public or elite athletes preparing for a specific sporting event, to relax and work well with her to facilitate the desired outcome. Tim DunstoneTim has recently completed an effective winter season of physiotherapy with the Sydney Uni Soccer Football Club. As the women's premier grade physiotherapist, Tim ran his Soccer Clinics on Tuesday and Thursdays on a weekly basis, benefiting many of the members of the Sydney Uni Soccer Football Club, from the top teams through to the younger less experienced teams. Tim's experience and post graduate studies assisted him to be PeakPhysique Physiotherapy's representative of a high quality nature. Dr Ihab LattoufThe Principal of the practice. He is a Physiotherapist and a Medical Doctor. His combined knowledge and experience in Physiotherapy and Medicine is an invaluable tool to lead our team. He is the cornerstone of the PeakPhysique team. |
