Our Experience
At the Sports ClinicWestern Avenue Our Team of Physiotherapists:Eric Clarke![]() Eric has a wealth of experience in dealing with sports injuries, with particular interest in rugby, running, swimming and rowing. He is currently a physiotherapist with Sydney University Rugby (SUFC) and was a physiotherapist at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games. He graduated in 1999 and is currently completing his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. In 2005 he completed the Level 3 SPA Sports Physiotherapy Course at the AIS. Eric has a manual therapy and exercise prescription approach, with a special interest in the rehabilitation of peripheral soft tissue injuries. He brings an excellent understanding of a multitude of sports and the components that go into being a successful sports person. Annette Chase![]() As well as being able to treat sports injuries very successfully, Annette also excels in the more common aches, pains, work injuries, postural related injuries and all types of rehabilitation. Annette takes a wholistic view of the injury and puts together an effective recovery/rehabilitation program. Amanda TurnerChair of Sports Physiotherapists Association, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice on a part-time basis. Previously physiotherapist to The Harlequins (UK). and Consultant Physiotherapist to Sydney University Rugby Club. Her experience covers sports injuries as well as spinal aches and pains. Tuan Duong![]() Tuan completed his Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy and sports injuries and has extensive experience in Spine and Sports injuries. He has been the physiotherapist to the 2005 Women’s Rugby team. He adds to our knowledge base in order to offer the most appropriate treatment to our patients. David PhilpotDavid brings to the practice a solid 10 years of physiotherapy experience including a Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy. NSW State Physiotherapist Director of LifeCare, David brings a wealth of expertise in both treatment and liaising and coaching. As head physiotherapist to the Sydney Kings BasketballClub for the past three years along with other sports experience, including grade rugby, cricket and international tennis, David is keen to assist athletes as effectively as possible. Peter Caine![]() Peter has extensive experience in Sports and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Alpine Sports and ultra-distance endurance events. Peter also holds a Masters in Manual Therapy as well as his Physiotherapy qualifications. He is assisting with the 2006 Commonwealth Games and previously for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and Paralympics, Hariots FP Rugby Football Club, the World University Winter Games, UCI World Track Cycling Championships and the Aust Uni Alpine Games. Peter broadens the spectrum of knowledge and experience of PeakPhysique Physiotherapy. Keiran ClearyKeiran and Eric take care of the Sydney University Rugby Union Club. Keiran has extensive experience with Rugby Union and sports injury management. Previously Physiotherapist to the University of NSW Rugby Union Club and other high profile teams. Dr Ihab LattoufThe Principal of the practice. He is a Physiotherapist and a Medical Doctor. His combined knowledge and experience in Physiotherapy and Medicine is an invaluable tool to lead our team. He is the cornerstone of the PeakPhysique team. |
